I have used this for almost a year & I wanted to increase the speed of my doubleunders for competitions. It’s surpassed my expectations & has helped me climb the leaderboard
I didn't know how important a decent jump rope was until I got my Elite SRS bullet comp. It is AMAZING. It makes doubleunders so much fun. The spin is incredible, it's light-weight, fits in the hand beautifully and is just a joy to use. HIGHLY recommend.
I have been competing in CrossFit as a master for the past 7 years. Over those 7 years I have become known as the guy who just loves it when double unders show up in the workout. Recently, I have been using the SRS Elite Bullet COMP rope and I have found that it is fast, it is smooth, it is well balanced. You definitely should try it for yourself.
The handle fits really well in my hand. It spins really well. You can trust the rope.
Rope is great but cable broke entirely after cutting it to size (wiring came completely undone about halfway down the cable), I reached out to customer service about the issue, they told me to use the pieces to put on the end of it and when I told them it was half of the cable and that wouldn’t work, they just never responded.
Well over 15y ago I purchased my first Elite Jumps speed rope. At the time I was doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & including boxer-style jump rope into my pre-mat training sessions to keep my competitive edge. After all back then, it was uncommon for women to be in this realm… at all. So between powerlifting & jump rope, I did all I could before I’d go to class & beat up men. Then I retired from the mat in my early 40s, and shortly thereafter had a few shoulder surgeries. Thinking that my days of fighting men were retired, and why continue to jump rope? Fast forward 14y into postmenopause and discovering how vital it is for my bone health to be doing jump training. Jumping in place to achieve more impact on my bones to encourage blastocyst production soon had me realize how boring that was. Yet vital to continuing to inhabit my body independently, I wondered if I should pick up a rope again?! The ball bearings in the COMP handles are so smooth, that picking up just any rope was a disappointment in how the revolutions occurred at the wrists. I knew exactly what I’d need to do - ordered another COMP rope & needless to say, this grandma’s still got it :) Now I can jump rope in my garage, thanks to also purchasing Elite’s jump mat, and then go to the gym for weight training. Win/win… may I avoid fractures long into my sunset. Meanwhile a gal can still have some fun while doing all her body needs to stay fiercely independent. Thank you Elite Jumps for continuing to occupy this space & creating equipment that makes play of some important work!
I need to reduce the size of the rope more than once and there’s no additional stopper. Had to get one from Amazon. Save yourself some money and look elsewhere.
So far i am loving this rope. Ive been able to strung more DU’s together. Im using the coated rope since i am upgradibg from a heavier rope.
I bought the Bullet Jump Rope to help improve my double unders, and it’s been great so far. When it first arrived, one of the handles wasn’t working properly, but customer service was quick to respond and sent a replacement right away, which I really appreciated.
The rope itself is exactly what I was looking for. The handles spin smoothly and make double unders feel faster and more efficient. It feels solid and well-made, and I’m excited to keep using it and see how much my speed improves.
Fast. Lightweight. Best rope I've ever had after being a competitive crossfitter for the last 14 years. Highly recommend!
I have seen incredible improvement from using this speed rope. So much so others have asked what new rope I got and want to buy one for themselves! Highly recommended!
I am 68 now and have been jumping for over 45 years. I have worn many ropes out and Elite Jumps make the longest lasting for what ever your jumping style is. Ita been a great way to stay fit.
My new jump rope is beyond what I expected, it was easy to set up and I feel confident in my double unders!
I used the Rx Smart Gear Evo G2 and the RPM comp rope before picking this up on a whim. Holy smokes! Great rope- I got the 1.3mm cable and the whole set up is so light I’m avoiding a solid amount of shoulder fatigue during wods. Big boost here!!
Looks fantastic! I can't wait to try doing dubs with it.
I’m relatively new to the rope jumping, but this Bullet Comp rope is a beast. I was able to triple the time I can jump without stopping only by switching from beaded rope (which is my second favorite) to the Bullet. Jumping on it is so seamless. Love it
Kickass super fast rope. I would say the Bullet is an advanced jump rope that, while even more elite than the Performance rope, still gives more feedback (at least for me)…the Performance rope is a little light on feedback for my current taste.
If you’re just beginning, like me, you may not need to bite the Bullet right away and in fact may benefit from heavier simpler PVC like the Core series. I like the Core 5mm the best.
Throwing this down on the ground during a WOD and picking it back up, does lead to a little bit of ponytail kink that I have to spend time undoing. I think there are other brands that specifically market being able to throw down the rope and pick up without kink.
For the next frontier for Elite Jumps, I would love to see a kink resistant Bullet! Thats my biggest gripe.
I’m not sure if that’s expected for this by it does do it on mine (despite the fact that I allow a little play at the ends like the set up videos suggest). Maybe my cable is goofed.
I like the Joey bag set up, that’s super handy.
Overall this is a sweet rope.
Delivery was fast and got my order sooner than I thought. Best skipping rope in the market to date. I've ordered a few not only for myself but other gym members.
amaizing
I’ve tried these several times and have yet to get a clean cut from them. They bend to the side and the cable doesn’t cut.
Hi Erin, are you referring to the cable cutters? To get a clean cut when resizing the steel speed cable make sure and use our cable cutters (or something similar) which can provide a nice cut to the end of the cable. Then put one of the provided cable stops or crimps over the end to make sure the cable doesn't split (it's spooled wire).
I have only used it 3 times and so far I love it. It’s very fast, I have only used the coated cable. The rope Is well made and durable. The smooth swivels make double-unders easier. The handles are comfortable and light.
The spin is everlasting and has a perfect grip because of the thickened part of the handle.
It's also a pretty piece because of the nice looks!
This is my second Bullet Comp Rope after I lost my first one. It has really helped my double unders. I’ve tried a lot of ropes and this is my favorite.
I loved the handles but the only problem I faced is the griping system the griping system is lower that it should be I personally grip just below the rope where handle is attached lower grip doesn’t suits me
I bought two other beaded ropes for beginners before I found Kyle’s “Jump 15” channel on YouTube recommending Elite Jumps ropes. I took his advice and decided on the EJ freestyle beaded with long handles. I basically don’t use the other two ropes anymore. I’m very happy with the EJ freestyle rope! Really like the long handles for learning crossovers. I also own a Core 6mm PVC. Another great rope, but I’m working to clean up my technique more using the beaded rope before I advance to the PVC.
Also, I wanna give a huge thanks to all the folks at Elite Jumps! I was one of the lucky winners of a Mui Thai 3.0 weighted and a Bullet COMP speed rope, plus the cool carrying case!
I originally got into jump rope about six months ago just to keep in shape, but now I’ve started to intensify my cardiovascular workouts using the weighted rope, and learning some new freestyle moves as well. With the addition of these fantastic new ropes, as well as watching Devin and Kyle YouTube instruction videos, this has created a flatter learning curve and made my jump rope skills improve significantly faster then when I was struggling on my own. Thanks again! I’m thrilled to be one of the winners…
Great setup! As an engineer, I can appreciate the craftsmanship of this unit. I am almost unbroken with my DU's!
Nice
