I've be turning the rope for many, many years using a 3mm speed rope. And thought it would be interesting to try a "beginner's rope". Anyway, it took be a couple of sessions to adapt and found it quite challenging. Heavier, and had to adjust speed of rope and my jumping. But, I liked it. I'm using it to work on a few of my tricks. I don't know if the rope makes that easier or not. But I enjoy the rope and wouldn't really call it a beginner's rope. Only would if the idea is a beginner would find the slower speed helpful.
I love the rope so far, sill getting use to it it the 6mm pvc pink 🙌🩷

These ropes are great! This is the perfect weight for my 10yo who is jumping to improve his quickness and agility.
I never even jumped rope as a child, yet I am absolutely loving this as an older adult. I’ve only been using the Elite Jumps "Do Hard Things" 6mm PVC rope for a week, and it has already become the best cardio workout I’ve ever gotten in the shortest amount of time. It is significantly better than running.
Even though I’m still working on my form, I can already feel an increase in my stamina and energy levels when I’m doing other exercises. It is fun and I look forward to my next jump rope session; there are endless tricks to learn and improve on as I progress.
A few things that make this rope stand out:
* Visibility & Weight: I got the white rope, which is great for visibility. The weight is perfect for a beginner trying to gain good form and rhythm.

Holds up well in cold winter months on a variety of outdoor surfaces. Rope maintains elasticity and pliability. Been jumping lost every day now for 2-3 weeks or so and the rope seems to be handling everything I put it thru and is ready for more!

The delivery never came to my house I really want to try my new jumper rope but I can’t I’m still waiting for a solution
Unfortunately, I never received the jump rope. The tracking has been stuck on “En route” for weeks now. I contacted DHL twice but never got any response or update. Really disappointed, especially since it’s been over a month with no resolution.
It’s a jump rope.
I was using a cable rope which was very light but always kinked and I spent a lot of time straightening. My new rope is heavier but so kink free and east to adjust. It is a great rope.
