3lb Beast Rope is the ‘rapid fire’ for cardio & strength in 3 minutes only!

Less is more and more is less - that’s how this 3lb Beast has been to me: do less but get more, it weighs more but give you even more in less time.

The best super heavy ropes ever.

Have been using the Beast for a week now and the name is very fitting. I’m mid 60’s, good shape comparable to 40+, and daily jump with EJ Muay Thai’s and speed ropes to keep my blood sugar and BP down so I am very experienced (best health benefit I’ve ever done!). This Beast rope is HEAVY. When it arrives in it’s nice packaging (like all EJ ropes) you will feel it immediately. If I were a blogger I would review it but here’s my thoughts: It has some memory from shipping but comes out ok in time. I’m 6’6” so my length was fine from the store. I’m a maintenance engineer & machine designer and the adjustment procedure for length is doable. If it’s over your head, then take it to a mechanical person and they can easily adjust it. The workout is tremendous and demanding, whether it’s 3 reps of 15 loops or 50 straight through (i’m not there yet and like I said, I am an experienced heavy rope jumper if that helps you gauge). Most importantly – when you first start jumping with this rope, wear suitable shoes for protection! If you wear those soft messy cushy shoes, then your toes better get ready. If you miss a loop at velocity, just starting using this or tiring at the end of a session, contact with your feet or toes will be painful. Tried doubling and wrecked with no injuries lol. Shoulder, forearm and Wrists may be 2-3 times the load of 1-1.5 ropes. I think this has to do with the bearings and efficiency of the handles because the forces transmit directly to the wrists/arms better than a giant nylon gym rope. The smoothness of the system could not be better. It’s perfect. I am continually amazed at how EJ keeps technically improving their jump ropes. Well done!

The Beast is The Best

I’m extremely satisfied with The Beast – every workout with this rope pushes my limits and delivers results. Its weight challenges my endurance while building real muscle strength, and I can feel my breathing capacity improving session after session. It’s not just a rope; it’s a serious training partner that makes every jump count. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to take their fitness to the next level.

Killer workout with 3LB rope.

I've been using the 3LB rope at the gym 10 min of 20×15 sec. Great upper body workout. The rope is of high quality, and durable. The best part of the rope are the non slip rubber handles. Highly recommend rope.

This is a life hack, been using it 3 times a week before my workouts. I train mma and jujitsu, biggest improvement ive noticed is my cardio. I’ve had it for about 3 months now and noticed the biggest improvements specifically in my arms and back. It feels like your throwing a whole load, but gets easier the more you do it. I started with 3 sets for 25 jumps with 1 minute rests in-between, then gradually added more reps overtime. I can now do 50 jumps for 5 sets. Thats just my warm up, definitely worth the price imo!

I got this jump rope to help break up the monotany of skipping rope since I don't have the skills for tricks yet. And this thing is a monster to use. The cardiovascular system is immediately taxed while using it, then you will notice your grip and shoulders start becoming increasingly exhausted. It adds a lot of fun to the mix. But be warned, it isn't easy to use.

The Beast - Well Worth It

I picked up the The Beast (3.0 lb) heavy rope, and have been incorporating it a lot into my training. It's been a great tool to sprinkle into warm-ups, EMOMS, etc.

Can I store the Red 3LB beast on the carrying case?

Elite Jumps

I’m 6’2 how much should I cut off the rope I have the 3 pound beast.

Elite Jumps

The best way to size any rope is to put one foot on the middle of the rope, bring the handles up, and they should be at about armpit level/center of your chest. Cut off a little if it's too long, jump for a while, see how it feels, if it still feels too long, cut a small amount off again, and repeat. You can always take more off so it's better to be safe than sorry and shorten it slowly! :)
