Have been using the Beast for a week now and the name is very fitting. I’m mid 60’s, good shape comparable to 40+, and daily jump with EJ Muay Thai’s and speed ropes to keep my blood sugar and BP down so I am very experienced (best health benefit I’ve ever done!). This Beast rope is HEAVY. When it arrives in it’s nice packaging (like all EJ ropes) you will feel it immediately. If I were a blogger I would review it but here’s my thoughts: It has some memory from shipping but comes out ok in time. I’m 6’6” so my length was fine from the store. I’m a maintenance engineer & machine designer and the adjustment procedure for length is doable. If it’s over your head, then take it to a mechanical person and they can easily adjust it. The workout is tremendous and demanding, whether it’s 3 reps of 15 loops or 50 straight through (i’m not there yet and like I said, I am an experienced heavy rope jumper if that helps you gauge). Most importantly – when you first start jumping with this rope, wear suitable shoes for protection! If you wear those soft messy cushy shoes, then your toes better get ready. If you miss a loop at velocity, just starting using this or tiring at the end of a session, contact with your feet or toes will be painful. Tried doubling and wrecked with no injuries lol. Shoulder, forearm and Wrists may be 2-3 times the load of 1-1.5 ropes. I think this has to do with the bearings and efficiency of the handles because the forces transmit directly to the wrists/arms better than a giant nylon gym rope. The smoothness of the system could not be better. It’s perfect. I am continually amazed at how EJ keeps technically improving their jump ropes. Well done!
Bought two ropes totaling $140, one off Amazon and one direct from Elite Jumps. Thought I had screw off end to adjust sizing of Muay Tai rope, turns out its old design with tiny screws. They don’t indicate they replaced the design on the website when ordering. They offered to send me a replacement end if I paid for shipping. Wow, poor customer service. They can’t toss in mail and pay $1? Never will buy their product again!

I love how you've made it easier to adjust the size of the rope. I was expecting the 3 little screws securing the rope to the handles, which can easily get lost, but this new design is 200% better and effective.
I picked up the The Beast (3.0 lb) heavy rope, and have been incorporating it a lot into my training. It's been a great tool to sprinkle into warm-ups, EMOMS, etc.
So much easier to swing them when they are good quality and beaded. Love that I could customize the colors too
I love these handles, they are the perfect size. Long enough to make executing difficult tricks more effortless but not too long to inhibit my MIC releases. They are light weight and a perfect match with the 4 mm pvc rope or beaded!!
Ordered a Muay Thai rope 2.0 - found out after receiving it that this specific rope is not adjustable. Very surprised a shop called 'Elite' would sell a non-adjustable and inferior jump rope and not include this major detail in the description (it is noted in the specs but nothing in description). 3.0 is apparently adjustable but not the 2.0. Customer service responded to me by informing me that they won't process returns or exchanges for Canadian orders, too bad so sad for me. Be sure to read through the fine print very carefully before ordering from here. I won't shop here again.
I switched from 5mm to 4mm pvc a year ago for added speed with my freestyle jumping and Elite Jumps is definitely my favorite. It has enough flexibility without compromising shape. I get a nice amount of feedback and can execute skills easily without worry of the rope getting tangled. I love the 4mm matched with the 6 inch tapered handles, the combination is great for MIC releases and it’s my every day go to rope!!!
