I was impressed mostly by the video support for set up and getting you jumping. Really well done series for beginners. That with the good quality of the rope set makes this a great choice for beginners. This brand and team are legit.

First, this is. An expensive set of jump ropes. But when you realize you are getting three jump ropes, each a different style, then it’s not so bad. I’m 6’1” and I never had a good jump rope experience. Usually hit my head in the back because the rope was too short or it was too long and didn’t swing well. These you can cut to your size which is amazing. I’m all legs so I’m going to be cutting only about 5 inches off each side. Also, they made a video and linked it to a QR code they enclosed so you know how to put the rope together and where to size it. I hope there is one for the best uses of each rope, but I haven’t gotten through all the videos. There is the red one which is pretty soft. The white would is a little thinner and harder. And finally the black rope is the thinnest and feels like wire. The handles are really good quality and the tip that spins are made really well. You can spin it and it has very little friction (it takes forever to slow down). Great set!

This is quality jump rope with many options. Super fast bearings. I'm glad that there are choices with the rope because I am a beginner. The faster ropes are too fast for me right now, especially with the speed of the bearings on these things. The red rope on this is perfect, and I can change them as I advance. The handles are nice heavy aluminum with just enough knurling in strategic areas for a good grip

This rope is for TRICKS, like double-unders, even triple-unders. As a beginner I am not yet very proficient with it. If you are a beginner, or just want to activate your body for cardio, I'd recommend you check out one of this company's heavier 6mm ropes. I have one of them too and they provide you way more feedback when you learn to jump, as well as engage your arms more.

But, I'm guessing what you are really reading the reviews for, is: "Yes, I want to do tricks—I want a speed rope—is this a good speed rope?" The answer is yes. Watch the video. If only my relationships went as smoothly as this rope. And, the ropes are all soft, pliable, kink-resistant, just a total pleasure—if you want to do or learn TRICKS.

Nice set of jump ropes. Aluminum handles and comes with 3 sets of cords. Fairly smooth rope rotation. Hopefully it lasts.

such amazing handles on this one. you can literally spin it once and it just keeps spinning. The max PVC that you can out in the handle is 4. I can do crossovers but its tricky cause its a fast one. PERFECT for double unders.

I’ve always jumped, bicycled, or played baseball (bullpen catcher at AAA level until 2019!) for my cadio health. I became interested in jumping more when I came across Elite Jumps ropes and found out how a quality rope could improve my workouts so dramatically! Particularly the Muay Thai 3.0!
All the cardio I need, with a good muscular workout throughout. The biggest benefit I get is that my knees don’t go through the rotational bending of cycling or running at sprint levels (old catcher’s knees!). I get all the exercise I need for my hard workouts in my own driveway without the hazards of public roads or congested parks! In 2 months of steady aggressive jumping I’ve dropped 10lb and lowered my A1C to acceptable levels. Most of all I’m having fun because top shelf jump ropes like Elite Jumps makes it possible to learn better jumping routines! You can’t blame the rope anymore!lol! I’m starting to pull doubles and crosses with my Sports Performance Jump Rope and even have the family getting in on jumping (didn’t see that one coming!). Any news on some Elite Jumps swag? I could use an EJ logo patch and decal to brand on my workout bag. Yall should push some of those! Love my EJ ropes and won’t be my last! Thanks EJ!

I’ve been using jump ropes to up my boxing game…and no other rope feels better than Elite Jumps’ ropes. I’ve tried the cheap Amazon ropes, expensive $100 ropes, and even boxing specific brands like Boxrope…but none compare to Elite Jumps! Thank you!

I'm a competitive crossfit athlete and my rope has a major impact on my placing. I am not the best jumper and I need a rope that is smooth and lightning fast with the durability to survive my gym bag.

I love the ability of this rope to spin as fast as it does. But I really do not like the way that it has to be setup through the handles. I dont like the tool kit and connectors, which are flimsy and inconvenient. I truly wish that the rope was "fed" through the center of the handles, in the same way that the other rope I ordered is configured.

Highly recommended

Pros: Very smooth and excellent spin time - perfectly weighted - relatively versatile - built to last.
Cons: The knurling is not aggressive enough - had to put some grip tape that unfortunately covers the nice logo - Cannot use 5mm PVC which is IMO the best size for licorice ropes - All ropes slides, I had to add rubber little tube to act as a stopper on the inside of the rope. Around the rope attachment, it got scratch very quickly. For that, I gave 4 out of 5 stars.

I am a beginner at CrossFit and ordered the Sports Performance Jump Rope, which includes 3 types of ropes, so you can work your way up to the speed rope. The handles are very well made and spin smoothly. It is easy to assemble and customize the length to fit. The ropes, handles, and fittings come in a nice zippered bag. I also bought the mat. I highly recommend these products.

I ordered 2 engraved handles and there was an error when printing the packing list so only 1 was engraved, I emailed customer service and Becca was quick to respond, super friendly and got it taken care of. In only a few days the handles were back to me and looked great! Thank you!

Sports Performance Jump Rope

Great jump rope, lightweight, easy to clean and store.

I was very disappointed this the set of three "ropes". I only tried the white rope out of the bundle and it was so light it was impossible to turn. The tool needed to interchange the ropes is smaller than the size of a paper clip and would be lost in no time . It took two weeks to arrive to me ( NC) and just made it within the return policy even though I reached out within two days of receiving product. Buyer pays for returns $9.00 . Buyer beware.

This is a very high quality and professional grade jump rope. I like that this rope is designed to be cut to the individual using it. Easy to cut the rope if you have a nice wire cutter. The handles move very easily with the rope, and it's actually really fun jump roping with this.

The Sport Performance handles are great! They are very well made and spin smoothly. I have used all three ropes that came in the set. The 4 mm pvc cord is good for general jumping. The snap fasteners work really well. The 3.2 mm freestyle cord was ok. It is a little light. I had a some difficulty with rope feedback due to it's weight. Where I think the progression bundle really shines is with the 2.4 speed cable. The long, tapered Sports Performance handles combined with the smooth spin makes jumping with the speed cable enjoyable. I highly recommend this product.

These jump ropes are perfect for cardio. Their light so it makes it easy to get more jumps in. No issue tripping over it and they’re durable. My toddler snuck and tested the durability lol
