Product Features

A replacement cord for speed and double under jump ropes. It fits most standard speed-rope handles and features a kink-resistant, USA-made steel cable with a durable nylon coating.

Why nylon coating? Nylon is recommended over PVC coating for speed ropes because it is stiffer, which helps maintain shape at high speeds. It's also more durable as a coating on steel cable.

What is the proper use of this cable? This is a true "speed" cable used for double unders and speed jumping. For freestyle jumping, we recommend using a PVC cord, which is thicker and more flexible.

Will it fit my rope? This cable can be used with any standard speed ropes, including our Bullet COMP rope. It will also fit most handles of other jump rope brands.

Note: Cable includes a metal cable stop attached to one end. Purchase separately an adjustable screw to easily swap out handles from existing cable speed ropes.

NIce speed cable

I substituted this purple cable for the black cable that came with the Spark Speed Jump Rope. I like the color and it goes great with the green handles I selected.

wasted money

there’s no descriptions or instructions about which rope for which handles, no video tutorials on how to set this type of ropes to handles. i just guessed this rope is not for 8” long handles. so reorder pvc ropes . totally waste of time and money.

@Akiko, you can absolutely use this cable for 8' handles. It's just a thinner speed cable. Did you not want to use a spead cable with your handles?

perfect handle length.

The perfect handle length to learn double under crossovers.
Long handle does'nt work for me and with short handles there is lack of momentum bij swinging te rope. This size is in between and perfect for me. Elite Jumps seems to be only who sells them.

I ordered this to replace the weathered and frayed cable on my speed rope; it was a perfect fit and so far has functioned exactly as I’d hoped.

Its my favorite ropw to use paired with the boxer handles. I have been using these and replacing for almost 4 yrs. Use a rubber surface and they will last about about a year depending on your use I jump 20-35 minutes 5-6 days a week these are great quality.

Thanks for warrantying the speed cable for me...and thank you for the new handles...they are awesome! As for the speed cable...I used them for about 3 minutes before the weight flew off. It was a little embracing...because I had been bragging about you guys...BUT...It was a simple 1 minute fix with a hammer when I got home! Over all - 5 STARS!!! All of the way around!

My go to for wire

This is a good good product but the replace cord I received was missing the metal stopper. Company responded well and replaced it.

My favorite wire

I have a collar shop on Etsy and use this wire for my pink beaded collars. The coating on this wire is so soft and smooth. I had to try other brands when this was temporarily unavailable and was not happy with any others. I love this wire, it holds up very well. The pink color is just perfect and the prettiest pink. Please keep this available!! Even though I don’t use it as a traditional jump rope replacement cable I can attest that quality is there and longevity of the wire is also the best!!

Quality replacement rope

I’m 6’2 and this rope is nearly the perfect height for double unders (maybe could be a few inches longer). If you’re taller than that, the purple rope in particular will likely be too short.
