Core Jump Rope - 5mm PVC

I am just learning to jump rope, although I am very fit I am a 64 year old over the road trucker who needs to get in shape and jumping rope is my heart's desire to do so, this past week we're on vacation in the mountains of NC hiking and I am working on my jump roping planning on continuing to do so after I get back to work jumping rope outside my semi as a daily routine, I absolutely love the Romans T-shirt for Romans is probably my favorite book of the Bible, what I love about my job is getting paid to listen to the Bible cover to cover as I roll down the highway and while I workout as well in my cab and God changes me inside out as we go. I have 3 Elite Jumps ropes (beaded, Boxer and Core) and this one is my favorite right now. I like that it is slightly heavier at 5.5oz and have been able to get it spinning fast despite this. Love the adjustability of it. Price is awesome.

The Elite Jumps Core Jump Rope is a great fitness accessory that has met my expectations. Its adjustable length makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, catering to people of different heights. I'm 5'10 and required just a small adjustment, which was really easy to do.

The handles are comfortable to grip and hold, even during intense workouts. The grip remains consistent even when your palms get sweaty. It didn't tangle on me while using it, so that was nice.

However, beginners might need some time to get used to the weight and speed of this rope. That said, I'd highly recommend it.

Perfect accompaniment to my morning routine. I really hate running; most of my morning cardio comes by way of VR headset boxing -- jumping rope was the perfect way to augment the regimen.

This set is super durable and flexible yet seriously soft -- hasn't scuffed itself on pavement outside, nor has it scuffed the wood flooring in my home.

It's adjustable, as can be seen in the photo, by trimming whatever slack necessary, and then simply wedging the ropes ends back into the handles -- never had an issue with them coming loose.

The tote bag is a nice touch, if for no other reason than the rope and handles don't bind up when placing the rig in a larger travel bag.

The manufacturer has done a fine job in the design and production on what is becoming part of my day-to-day -- and an unbeatable value, to boot!

I am very much a beginner at jumping rope. In the past I tried using a speed rope for burning calories. I was never that good at it. Since this a PVC rope with a thicker and slightly heavier rope than a speed rope, I decided to try it. I very much like the weight of the rope and find it much easier to establish the pace that I need. Within 10-15 minutes, I was able to do better than I ever had with a speed rope! Obviously my conditioning needs work. But at least most often I am stopping from being tired rather than from tripping over the rope. My goal is to include this as a small part of my training routine. However, using this so far has left me encouraged and looking forward to practicing more!

I probably don’t need a jump rope that is this good, but I am glad I have it!

I jump for fitness/cardio.l and was drawn to this jump rope because it is for that purpose although you can certainly do tricks with it as well. I have another jump rope that is nice—but not nearly a nice as this one—it doesn’t have quite as smooth of a swing, and has gotten scraped up over years of use on concrete, wood decking etc. because I tend to jump rope outside.

This rope is fairly thick at 6mm and although others have noted it is heavy, I found it surprisingly light and responsive for its size. It helps me get my cardio up quickly and maintain it, provided I don’t trip on my feet and have to start over. The handles are comfortable despite the fact that they don’t have any special grip or cushioning. I suspect they will hold up well due to their minimalist construction.

A nice jump rope with carry bag, this set is easy to adjust to your preferred length so you can get started right away. The handles are comfortable, and the line is a hard rubberized material that should last for many years.

This is a high-quality PVC jump rope. At 6 mm it has some weight to it and is definitely a rope built more for cardio than for speed. Cardio is what I was looking for, though, so I am happy with the size. I'm 6'3" and the rope is plenty long enough for me. I haven't trimmed it to size yet, but I'll probably end up taking 8"-12" inches off. So, unless you're over 7 feet tall, this rope should be plenty long enough for you. I've only owned a few other jump ropes in my life. I'm an infrequent casual jumper looking to get into it more, but this is easily the best quality jump rope that I've owned and an easy recommendation.

For a 20 dollar rope it wore away after a week and a half of regular use (30+ minutes) where the rope spins. Other than that it is a great rope with an awesome tempo change and balance of weight. Will purchase from website again. NOTE if you jump rope frequently it would be better to get the swivel head boxer rope or the heavy rope with ball bearings. NOT THE BEST ROPE FOR BOXERS.

I love my new rope. As a beginner, I could not even get started with the beaded rope I was using, even though I tried shortening and lengthening it I could not get it around very well. My new PVC rope is so much better for me to handle, it immediately helped me improve and now I can concentrate on my timing and hand position. I am finally making progress and realize now that I really can do it. Thanks for the advice to buy this one.

Just like the title says, this is a great rope.

I think I have 11 Elite Jumps (Elite SRS) jump ropes. I like them all. Some ropes I like so much that I have 2 of the same jump rope! I've used the Core Jump Rope a couple of weeks now. It's a great choice for someone starting out. The handles are high quality. Very good application of the company logo etc. on the handles (I think that has improved with the company rebranding). The snap lock holds the handles in place and make for easy resizing. The 6mm PVC is a heavier weight that gives good feedback. You know just where the rope is during the swing. The PVC ropes hold up really well if you are jumping on a smooth or rubberized surface. The included Travel Bag is really, really nice. Perfect size and high quality.

This plastic, blue & white adjustable jump rope is great for anyone who likes to train with a jump rope, or just jump for fun. The adjustment takes place inside the handles by siding the handle down. It's very easy to measure and cut. The handles are very durable come in a variety of colors bead the blue. These would be great for a gym, playground or home.

This is a good, non-specialized jump rope for general cardio fitness. It's comfortable and easy to adjust. It seems like it should last. Maybe a little pricey for a jump rope... If you have any questions about sizing it, be sure to watch the company's video (either on youtube or on the company website). Don't be hasty. I don't really have anywhere in my house where it's safe to jump rope, but I tried it outside in the cold. I'm looking forward to using it more in warmer weather.

Omg I’ve found a great rope for learning tricks and jumping aside from the weighted one. This is the best. Not sure why everyone say beaded is best for learning mic release i find this easier to catch and spin. I love it. I hope it will last long. Pls keep making this kind.

Solid handles and the PVC rope itself is solid and feels heavy made. I was concerned about it stretching, but it doesn't stretch much at all. Easy to shorten if needed; just snip off the excess with a pair of scissors.

I'm just a beginner but this rope is night and day compared to my old rope.

It's soft, pliable, isn't kinking, the core is reinforced with thread inside for extra safety, the handles feel incredibly high quality even though they are plastic, and as a proud American, I love the Made in USA embossing on the handles!

Jumping on it is amazing. It engages my arms more since it's on the thicker side (though, again, it is super soft and pliable). It also gives me a TON of feedback compared to my old rope, which is great for a beginner. It feels heavier, it makes an easier to follow whooshing sound flying through the air, the white version I have is easier to follow visually, and, most critically, it moves SLOWER due to how thick it is and not having ball bearings in the handles, which is a FEATURE, not a bug. I considered some of the ropes out there with bearings, but have learned those ropes are for TRICKS. Like double-unders. If you are just a BEGINNER, or if you just want to ENGAGE YOUR BODY, like for cardio, then this rope, with its extra thickness, heft, and feedback, is loads better.

It was also extremely easy to adjust without any tools. (Of course you would need some cutters if you want to cut it. But simply adjusting it can be done tool-free.) And it came in a nice pouch.

I have started my fitness journey and one of the exercises I loved growing up was jump roping. This is a durable rope for jumping
